You're Driving Me Crazy
1961 , Norwich (Norfolk)
Cat no. 205038
Anglia Television programme about men and their automobiles.
In an age where men supposedly face restrictions in every aspect of their lives - from their wives at home to their bosses at work - this light-hearted film looks at their relationship with their one tool of freedom, the motor car. Despite granting this sense of freedom, sometimes, the car can become a burden, particularly when the novelty of tinkering wears off and the 'marriage' becomes strained. Various types of car owners are profiled, complex relationships with their vehicles explored and their unanimously dangerous driving styles examined.
