The interviewer asks the driver why he feels it has taken Ipswich so long to make the change from trolley bus to motor bus. The driver argues why he feels the trolley bus is more reliable in traffic. The interviewer asks if he has any amusing stories about the trolley bus days. The driver tells a story of how a tyre burst during the war and everyone ran for shelter as they thought it was a bomb drop. Interviewer asks him what he thinks tranportation will be like in twenty years time "Helicopter or spaceships" he answers. Final shot of the trolley bus going into the bus shelter, for the last time perhaps.
