The East coast floods of 1953.
An aerial survey of the effects of the 1953 floods on the Thames Estuary. The first shot shows a ship lying on its side in dry dock. A flooded causeway is filmed followed by flooded farmland and stranded cows. General views of the submerged landscape follow and the film ends with shots of a flooded caravan site.
